About Me

As a data scientist and Python developer, I have worked with a diverse range of clients including product owners, physicians, and geoinformaticians. This experience has taught me the importance of explainable AI, data visualization, and statistics in communicating technical concepts to a broad audience. I am always looking to expand my skillset and recently have become interested in web development and decentralized applications , also staying up-to-date with the latest technologies in data science. Currently experimenting with Generative AI such as Stable Diffusion and ChatGPT

My projects

Python

Agent based modeling

We have created a computational model to simulate small cell lung cancer using diffrenet kinds of cancer and immune cells as agents in a 3D environment.

Data Science / Frontend (JS, HTML) / Backend (Python, FastAPI)

Treatment efficacy evaluation

I have used multimodal data including questionnaire responses, metagenome expression tables, and CT images to fit machine learning models for efficacy predictions for immunotherapy treatments. These models were developed for use by physicians in clinical practice, developed with the Hungarian Korányi Institute of Pulmonology.

Python / Statistics / Data mining

Networks in Bioinformatics

Our study analyzed brain graphs using data mining algorithms and statistics to find connections to intelligence and psychological tests. Results suggest specific brain substructures may influence cognitive function and predict differences in intelligence and psychological well-being.

Work Experience

AI Engineer Developer at Lain Consulting
Oct, 2019 - Jan, 2023
As a data scientist and Python developer at an artificial intelligence consulting company, I have contributed to several projects including:
  • A computer-aided diagnosis system for lung cancer based on CT images
  • A model for predicting the efficacy of immunotherapy treatments
  • A model for small cell lung cancer behavior (SCLC)
  • An automated verification system for agriculture using satellite images and time series data for crop classification
Course Coordinator, Lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University
Sept, 2021 - Present
Teaching Python and Data Science in a machine learning specialization program at ELTE.
Research Associate Eötvös Loránd University, PIT Bioinformatics Research Group
Dec, 2017 - Dec, 2021
As a research associate at the PIT Bioinformatics research group at ELTE, I used Python, data mining and statistical tools to analyze human connectome networks which are the maps of neural connections in the brain.

Education

Masters in Applied Mahematics from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest
2017 - 2019
Operation research specialization, with focus on graph theory. I completed a thesis entitled "Networks in Bioinformatics," in which I used data science tools to analyze connectome networks and protein interaction networks.
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest
2014 - 2017
